a little about me...

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always pulling out old photos to look back on and ask questions. You can still find me admiring photos of years past and so thankful my family documented every milestone, vacation, and holiday. And no, I am not talking about the studio photographs my mother invested in that we all laugh about today (you know, the family photos where everyones in matching jean jackets) I'm talking about the photos that capture the real moments, the photos that tell a story and are candid.

I first picked up a DSLR camera in 2017, documenting my pup and longing to be a mom. I loved my Canon Rebel and am so glad I jumped and took a chance. I am also forever grateful to every family that showed up and supported me during my early days, without you I wouldn't be where I am now. As my skills have improved, I promise my camera gear has as well- but I also truly believe the best camera is the one you have on you.

If you scroll down below, you will see some of my favorite things, but my most favorite thing of all is being a mom. After working in education for several years, this photography job of mine is a dream come true. It allows me to be my best self within my career, and most importantly, as a mom.
